The substance Silymarin contains a complex of antioxidant flavonoids, isolated from the fruits of milk thistle (Silybum marianum). It is a plant flavonoid with hepatoprotective properties, traditionally used to strengthen and protect cell function.
This plant substance contains stabilizing agents for cell membranes, enhancing agents for bile secretion, and ingredients that prevent the reduction of endogenous antioxidants, such as glutathione. Glutathione is a tripeptide that occurs in high concentrations in the liver, binds chemicals derived from external factors, and converts them into a form that is excreted through urine or bile.
The protection provided by Silymarin is not only beneficial for the liver itself, but also for the health of the whole organism. Silymarin of now is a powerful product, designed to strengthen the hypostic function and contribute to the regeneration of liver cells.
