Description

Selenium is an essential trace element, essential for the formation of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione perioxidase( glutathione peroxidase), an important enzyme that works with other antioxidant agents to protect the body’s cells from the oxidative stress of free radicals.

It is incorporated into the body in a large number of vital proteins called selenoproteins.
